Tachyon Pulse

rays of light streaking through a space nebula

An up-tempo tune with some initial 90s flare, inspired by a beat from Looperman artist @milostubbsmusic. PREVIEW

Happy Pill

A white pill with wings floating in space

A cheerful, uplifting tune to brighten up your day. Made with Apple Garageband. PREVIEW

Propellerhead

head silhouette against space nebula background

Drum patterns generated by the Yamaha MM6 and rendered by Monster Drums, instruments from ExactLite, Analog Lab V, MonoFury and MuLab. PREVIEW

Loose the Metaltron

creepy robot on an alien world

Hard rock? Heavy metal? This is very much a keyboard player’s attempt at something resembling either, or both. The result is somewhat PS2-ish. Enjoy! PREVIEW

Roller Coaster Life

space nebula in shape of roller coaster cars

Inspired by a loop from Looperman.com, with an arp’d MuLab bass, some Analog Lab V and Surge XT pads and a bunch more MuLab instruments. PREVIEW

I Can’t Get You Outta My Head

skull floating in space with subtle image of man's eyes on forehead

I was digging through some old optical media when I stumbled across this gem that I had originally recorded way back in 2004. Over 20 years buried away… well, no longer. The folder I found didn’t have the separate stems for the instrumental, but it did contain the separate vocal tracks. So I’ve rebuilt the instrumental using my current tools and slipped the original vocals back in place. This marks the first TranSan song in the library with vocals! Hope you enjoy!

Return to Tomorrow

futuristic city at night

Another in the Instrument Category Series, this upbeat tune is led by several examples of synthesized guitar, with an assist from some punchy brass synth in the chorus. Almost all of the guitar sounds are courtesy of the Yamaha MM6 synth, with heavy metal drum kit from Monster Drum, some Analog Lab V and some Love-Fi 3 Lite, amidst a handful of MuLab synths sandwiched in.

The Need for Steed

whispy race horse against a nebula with a racing flag

Part of the Instrument Category Series, this tune is composed around the organ category of instruments. Featuring sounds from Analog Lab V, Surge XT, MuLab, Monster Drum and an old breakbeat loop I dug up from a random backup CD.

Don’t Like to Blow My Own Horn, But…

trumpets extruding from behind planets in space

This tune is part of a series where I’ve selected a category of instrument as the primary focus, which in this case is brass instruments. The main brass sound is from the FluidR3 General MIDI soundfont, accompanied by the trumpet section from BBC Symphony Orchestra and a “brassy” synth from the Surge XT VST. Also, one of the bass layers is tuba from BBC Symphony Orchestra. Sandwiched in are select instruments from MuLab, a drum loop from Looperman artist gdbcrew and additional percussion from Monster Drums.
