Silver Spoons
A perky little ditty built primarily of selections from the Kontakt Komplete VST, with just a few assists sandwiched in.
Bug-in-a-Box
Here’s a happy little tune put together whilst playing with the iOS Moog app Model D, based on the infamous Minimoog synthesizer from the 70s. PopUpliftingHappyDance Pop
Victoria’s Bouncy Dance
Here’s a holiday weekend creation using a few different arpeggiators together to build the accompaniment to a melody you can whistle along to.
Strolling in the Glades
Here’s a happy little pop tune that grew from a persistent melody I had running through my head one day. When I transcribed that melody, it found its muse in a whistle, and everything else just fell into place from there.
Auto at the Disco
Here’s a tune that sandwiches a Korg i3 workstation synth into the MIDI path of a Yamaha PortaTone keyboard’s auto accompaniment function set to Disco. Throw in a bit of live piano and some melodies played on the i3 and an old Korg MS-10 analogue synth, and you end up with this happy, poppy song.
Send the Transmission
Here’s an upbeat, bass-boomin’ drum-thumpin’ dancy tune that includes some very cool loops from Looperman artists Rasputin and LouiveMane.
What’s My Name?
This tune started off with some playtime using the Podolski VST plugin on a patch called “Hard Rez Rave”, a lovely arpeggiated sound. For the rhythm section, we have a beatbox-style loop from Looperman user ‘attackyak’ supported by a 3-layer bass.
Happy Birthday the TranSan Way
I had a special request to do a transanitized version of the classic “Happy Birthday” song, and as it so happens, February 2018 marks the 1-year anniversary of the very first Transistor Sandwich live stream!
