City of Glass and Stone
Made mostly of sounds from the Vital VST synth from Vital Audio.
Teenage Dreamscape
This poppity throwback was built using mostly sounds from Arturia’s Analog Lab V (VST), with a few helpers thrown in from MuLab’s built-in synths.
Snappy the Turtle
Made with IK Multimedia Syntronic, Audio Damage Tattoo Percussion Synthesizer, KV331 Audio Synthmaster Player, a smattering of samples and assundry MuLab presets.
Dah’ren Sunrise
Another experiment in slaving a collection of VST instruments to a malfunctioning Korg i3 Workstation (1993). This time, I capture a pop rock style preset. This old i3 doesn’t produce sound anymore, so by capturing the multiple MIDI channels of a preset style pattern, I’m able to breath new life into it by assigning those channels to a sandwich of VSTs.
Cybertronic Starlust
A hard-pumping pop track built from auto-accompaniment sequences from a vintage Korg i3 Workstation sandwiched into a collection of modern VSTs.
Flight of the Blue Dove
Jamming on some synths while accompanied by an AI-generated backing track.
Christmas in Rockland
A laid-back but power rhythm leads a Vangelis-esque pulsing bass drone, accompanied by a choir synthetic and sampled voices from around the world. Add a little bit of regal horn and sparkling hand bells, and you’ve set the scene for Christmas in Rockland.
Pyroplastic Heartbeat
A driving beat provided by the Yamaha MM6 auto accompaniment, with a stack of studio synths on the melodies along with a smattering of VSTs thrown in.
Jolly Jig of the Organ Grinder
Auto-accompaniment on a Yamaha YPT-320 with a stack of synths providing a perky melody.
The Eurotech Aztek Choir at Olympus
Pumping auto-accompanied supplied by the Yamaha MM6 with a synth brass chorus melody and chill vibraphone verses.
